It is a catalogue of the international exhibition "Florence in the Renaissance and Baroque. Paintings from the collections of the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and the CR Firenze Bank", taking place from the 6th of July to the 7th of October 2018 at the Palace of the Grand Dukes. This exhibition features more than 40 spectacular paintings. It presents a unique European artistic heritage: a collection of paintings by famous Florentine artists from the 15th and 18th centuries, complemented by 19th-century images of the city. Many of the paintings presented here, from six different collections, have never been exhibited before, not even in Italy, and this exhibition in Vilnius is the premiere of some of the works on public display.
