Is there a place to leave my bike/scooter? |
The use of electric and motorised vehicles, as well as roller skates, scooters, bicycles, skateboards and other non-motorised vehicles is prohibited in the territory of the Palace Museum. There are stands for these vehicles in the vicinity of the Palace Museum. You can find the visitor rules at the stand just after entering the Palace Museum. |
Where can I purchase the tickets? |
Tickets to the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania Museum are sold at the Museum's box office - you can pay by card or in cash. Ticket prices can be found here. To add, with the same ticket you can re-enter the museum several times in one day You must register in advance if you wish to attend the educational session. If you would like to book a educational session, please contact edukacija@valdovurumai.lt Organised groups (up to 25 people) can register in advance for an individual tour on weekdays from 9.00 to 17.00 by calling (8 5) 262 0007. |
Can I bring my pet? |
Animals are not allowed in the premises and territory of the Palace Museum, except for guide dogs. You can find the visitor rules at the stand just after entering the Palace Museum. |
When are the free Sundays? |
On the last Sunday of every month, the Palace Museum is free to visit. You don't need to register in advance, but you will need to pick up a free ticket at the museum's ticket office, which will give you access to all of the museum's exhibition spaces. Please note that half an hour before the Palace Museum closes, visitors are no longer admitted. You can find the opening hours here. Please note that during the free Sunday, there is no access to the Museum's overview tower. |
Is it necessary to leave my coat, jacket or backpack in the cloakroom? |
The temperature in the Palace Museum is kept at around 20 degrees Celsius, making it comfortable and safe to visit without outer clothing. It is forbidden to enter the exhibitions of the Palace Museum inappropriately dressed: in wide and loose-fitting outer garments, dirty clothes and/or footwear that may cause damage to the exhibition rooms, exhibits or property of others. It is also forbidden to bring bulky handbags, suitcases, bags, backpacks and other items which, due to their shape or size, may endanger the exhibitions. They must be left in the designated areas (cloakroom, visitor storage rooms). Please also note that it is forbidden to take water or other liquids into the exhibition halls of the Palace Museum. Please leave bottles, drinks or other containers in the special box at the entrance to Routes I-II or in the Visitors' Storage Rooms. Are the museum's exhibitions accessible to people with disabilities? |
The environment of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania is particularly friendly to people with disabilities and special needs. Special lifts and elevators are available on all floors of the museum for people with reduced mobility. Wheelchairs are also available in the Palace Museum if needed.

We are always happy to welcome families with small children and prams. There are sloping walkways throughout the Palace Museum and lifts between floors.

Museum offers audio guides in Lithuanian, English, Ukrainian, Polish and Russian, which you can purchase at the museum's ticket office for 1.00 € |
