Chronicon Palatii Magnorum Ducum Lithuaniae is a serial publication begun in 2011.
Volume 3 contains review articles printed in Lithuanian that give a comprehensive reflection of the activities of the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in 2012–2013 – the collection, protection, research, conservation and preservation of cultural, art, history and archaeological treasures, the organization of cultural and state representational events, educational, publishing news and the spread of information for tourists. Also featured are scholarly articles by the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania museum staff and scientists, cultural workers from Lithuania and other countries on Lithuanian and European history, heritage and museum-related matters. The book contains summaries in English and Lithuanian plus illustration descriptions of the scholarly articles presented therein.
This issue also has articles prepared on the basis of papers read at the international exhibition “Jewellery Coffret of Hedwig Jagiellon” held at the museum in 2013, plus the texts of papers read by the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania staff at the conference “450th Anniversary of the Duchy of Courland and the Revival of Bauska Castle” held in 2012.
