Catalogue of the international exhibition „Portraits of the Rulers and Magnates of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania from Museums in Ukraine“ presents the Lithuania-related portrait collection, stored in museums in Lviv and Lutsk. The publication includes articles about historical ties between Lithuania and Ukraine, history of portrait origins and collection formation in Ukrainian museums, their artistic value and conservation process.
The catalogue contains portraits of 86 Lithuanian rulers and magnates (the Wiśniowieckis, Sanguszko, Radziwiłłs, Sapiehas, Chodkiewicz, Pac and others) and their descriptions.
The catalogue is published in Lithuanian language with introductory texts, academic articles, descriptions of images and main information about the exhibits in English and Ukrainian.
