It is a part of the international exhibition "The Radziwills. History and Legacy of the Princes". This publication consists of two books.
The first book of the catalogue ("Texts") provides a detailed account of the various thematic and contextual sections of the history and heritage of the Dukes of Radzwil, as well as a brief presentation of their real estate heritage, while more than two dozen essays illustrate the numerous images of treasures not included in the exhibition, which are related to the Radziwills.
This is the catalogue of the exhibition "History and memory. The Watercolours of Romanas Borisovas". It presents 78 exceptional watercolours and sketches created by the famous artist, traveller, chronicler of the architectural heritage of East Prussia and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Romanas Borisovas, over a period of more than four decades, presenting a vanishing architectural heritage - old churches and chapels, ruins of palaces and castles, cross streets and courtyards, as well as introductory texts on the biography and work of the artist.
The structure of the exhibition and its catalogue was dictated by the author's broad geographical and historical horizons, and the issue of endangered heritage.
This is the catalogue of the international exhibition "Lublin - City of the Lithuanian-Polish Union". The exhibition and catalogue, together with one of the most famous and spectacular paintings "The Union of Lublin" by Jan Matejko, also features six dozen works of art on historical themes from the 17th and 20th centuries. They give a broader picture of the city of Lublin, famous for the Union of Lithuania and Poland signed on 1 July 1569, as well as for its magnificent architecture, other artistic heritage and history.
The international exhibition and catalogue "Lublin - the City of the Lithuanian-Polish Union", organised on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the Union of Lublin, is an excellent opportunity to recall one of the most important political events of the 16th century in Central and Eastern Europe. At the same time, it highlights the historical links between Lithuanian and Polish politics and culture and the close ties between the two countries and peoples that have existed for centuries.
All catalogue texts (articles and descriptions of the exhibits) are published in three languages: Lithuanian, English and Polish.
This is the catalogue of the national exhibition "Simonas Daukantas. I am laying the foundations for being Lithuanian". The exhibition dedicated to Simon Daukantas (1793-1864), a prominent personality of the 19th century Lithuanian history, is organised in cooperation with the National Museum - Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania and the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore. The catalogue presents the heritage related to S. Daukantas, both relics of his biography and memorabilia, preserved by various Lithuanian memory institutions - museums, libraries, archives - and private individuals.
All catalogue texts (articles and catalogue descriptions) are published in two languages - Lithuanian and English.
