Chronicon Palatii Magnorum Ducum Lithuaniae is a serial publication begun in 2011.It contains survey articles refl ecting the broad sweep of work done at the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania during a set period of time, from scholarly publications to public education. It also contains articles by museum staff and other scholars from Lithuania and abroad on particular topics of interest. The second volume of this publication reviews the activities of the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in 2011, and includes researchrelated texts and articles based on presentations made at the international academic conference titled “The Vasa Era in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania” that took place on October 19, 2011.
