Statehood Day celebration in the Palace

Marking Statehood Day, the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, together with its partners, invited everyone to commemorate this day meaningfully and had prepared a festive programme for visitors. July 6 is an important celebration for the Palace of the Grand Dukes Museum, which continues and nurtures historical traditions. Museum professionals invited visitors to see the international exhibition “Pidhirtsi Palace. History and Art Collections,” the international exhibition “Simonas Čechavičius. A Baroque Master in Pidhirtsi,” as well as view the restored tapestry “The Rape of the Sabine Women,” and the exhibition of two books by M. K. Sarbievijus dedicated to the Year of Baroque Literature.
