On May 23, at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania Museum, an event from the program of the international festival "Poetry Spring 2025" took place – readings of poetry and prose by Justinas Marcinkevičius titled "A Stool Above the Head."

The evening program featured voices of young readers from the GalMeno? studio, who brought to life Justinas Marcinkevičius's sensitive and dramatic essay "A Stool Above the Head." The readings were accompanied by music.

"Poetry Spring" is the oldest cultural festival in Lithuania, held since 1965. Its initiator and first laureate was the poet Justinas Marcinkevičius himself. Each year, the festival brings together the whole of Lithuania, inviting poets, bards, actors, readers, musicians, and audiences to celebrate spring and the poetic word in the Lithuanian language.
