The golden thread-worked robes of royalty, intriguing marriages and sumptuous interiors are just some of the ways in which the dramatic Baroque era could be described. The Lithuanian Museum Route 2025 is dedicated to the Baroque, and the Palace Museum invited the public to a Baroque night on International Museum Day. On 17 May, the European Night of Museums, scholars, historians and educators invited visitors to look for signs of the Baroque in the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.

From 18.00 until midnight, music was played and the most interesting stories about the Baroque era were shared - for the first time in the history of the Palace Museum, the Baroque Shorts were presented - a tournament of nine short stories and conversations about the Baroque era, accompanied by the music of the period.
