
The programme of the 9th International Marco Scacchi Early Music Festival includes a concert by Nicolas Aubin, a talented young performer and laureate of the international Žygimantas Liauksminas (Lithuania) and Gianni Gambi (Italy) festivals.
His first experience playing the harpsichord in the vicinity of Paris was at the age of eight. The musician continued his interest in the sound of the instrument and studied the subtleties of the harpsichord in France and Germany. The musicians’s teachers include such famous names as Martin Gester and Aline Zylberajch (France), Michael Borgstede (Germany), Francesco Corti (Switzerland).
After graduating, the performer is currently teaching young harpsichord talents in Montbéliard (France).
The programme includes works by Jean-Henri d’Anglebert, Johann Sebastian Bach and Jean-Philippe Rameau.
