The Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra will perform with Hugo Ticciati, a British-born violinist who has attracted special interest from the audience. Composer Arvo Pärt described this young performer as someone with a rare ability to convey the depth of music. H. Ticciati is famous for his intellectual approach to music, which he associates with literature, philosophy and even meditation. In the last season alone, the violinist played a wide range of repertoire from Johann Sebastian Bach to Alfred Schnittke, performed pieces by Tobias Broström, Sergey N. Yevtushenko, Albert Schnelzer for the first time in the world. He performed in world-renowned halls such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Maria Theater in St. Petersburg, Symphony Hall in Chicago, King’s Place and Wigmore Hall in London, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam. H. Ticciati is also the creator of this programme.
German cellist Julian Arp will also perform. As a soloist and chamber musician, J. Arp performs at various music festivals such as Schleswig-Holstein, Reingau, Montreux, Oxford, Beethovenfest in Bonn, SoNoRo in Bucharest and others. The cellist conducts master classes, and teaches at the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts.
