On May 8, in the Grand Renaissance Hall of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, attendees commemorated the 600th birth anniversary of Blessed Michał Giedroyć during the cultural evening “A Life That Never Ends.”
 
The presentation “Blessed Michał Giedroyć – a Canon Regular of Penance” was delivered by Dr. Darius Baronas (Lithuanian Institute of History). Remarks were also given by Dr. Jonas Ivanauskas, Bishop of Kaišiadorys; Prince Michał Graham Dowmont Giedroyć, a representative of the Giedroyć family; Dr. Vydas Dolinskas, Director General of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania; Sister Anna Sudujko of the Congregation of the Holy Queen Jadwiga, Servant of Christ (Poland); and Skaidrūnė Vetcelienė, Vice-Postulator for the Canonization Process of Blessed Michał Giedroyć.
 
Musical performances were given by the GŠ Ensemble.
 
The commemoration was organized by the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania and the Diocese of Kaišiadorys.
