From March 5 to 23, 2025, the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania invites everyone to the eleventh International Marco Scacchi Early Music Festival, named after the composer of the first operas staged in Lithuania in the 17th century.
This year, the festival is organized with the support of partners: the Embassies of the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Italy, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Polish Institute in Vilnius, the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and the Europa shopping center.
On March 5, in the Grand Renaissance Hall, the festival was inaugurated by the ensemble Canto Fiorito (artistic director Rodrigo Calveyra) with a concert titled “Sancta Maria: A Mass for the Union of the Vasa and Habsburg Dynasties”.
