Special excursions have been organised for the European Archaeology Days on the 14th and 15th of June. Archaeologists Gintautas Striška and Egidijus Ožalas "interviewed" the artefacts (out of half a million finds discovered on the territory of the Vilnius Lower Castle, the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania displays almost two thousand) and the excavated walls of the former residence of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes. Visitors saw what there is to see not only in the museum, but also in the entire territory of the Lower Castle.
