The last week of October marked the end of the first part of the international educational project St. Cecilian Early Music Festival, where for two months the youngest participants of the festival learned the secrets of early music - they got to know the old musical instruments, wrote with goose feathers, improvised a Baroque opera, and got acquainted with the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.
On the 28th of October, the closing ceremony of the St Cecilia Festival Music Studio was crowned and the second part of the festival events started with an educational concert for children and families "Angel Songs for St. Cecilia". The children - participants of the St Cecilia Festival Early Music Studio - together with professional early music performers presented the oldest medieval church hymns and interpreted the story of this extraordinary saint.
