On May 12, the Northern CHODs Conference was held at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius, bringing together military leaders from the region and allied nations to discuss European security, the defense of NATO’s eastern flank, and adaptation to the realities of modern warfare.
The conference was organized by General Alexus D. Grynkewich, Commander of U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, together with General Raimundas Vaikšnoras, Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The conference was attended by military commanders and high-ranking military representatives from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and Sweden.
