On April 9, the audience was briefly introduced to the process of attributing these tapestries to their patron and the long journey these textiles took to the collections of the Sanguškas princes. The role of heraldic tapestries during the transition from the late 16th to the 17th century and within the context of the event-filled political realities of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was also discussed. The lecturer was Prof. Dr. Ieva Kuizinienė (Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania).
