Ensemble „ArtiCoolAzione“ (Italy)
Leandro Marziotte – countertenor
Nicola Brovelli – baroque cello
Luigi Accardo – harpsichord
Diego Leverić – archlute
The programme “Frangi Cupido i Dardi” of still unpublished cantatas by Leonardo Leo (1694–1744), Leonardo Vinci (1690–1730) and Adolf Hasse (1699–1783) is a collection of snapshots of the Neapolitan musical world of the first half of the 18th Century, which may transport us in the time of the very distinguished style of the chamber cantata and the concertato.
The young Italian ensemble ArtiCoolAzione, based in Cremona, directed by Croatian-born lutenist Diego Leverić, focuses on Italian Baroque music and especially on little-known repertoire. They recorded the program of this concert in 2016 with the CD-Label “Arcana”, and toured in Croatia, Italy, France and The Netherlands.
The soloist of ensemble ArtiCoolAzione, countertenor Leandro Marziotte is the winner of the Händel Competition in Göttingen, Germany (2014). He is currently performing in the actual opera season of the Halle Oper and the Oldenburg Opera House in Germany.
