The programme proposed here aims to highlight Marco Scacchi's sacred music through the performance of the Missa Quando Sperai. This piece provides insight into how Scacchi approached the composition of sacred music during a significant transitional moment in Italian Baroque music. Scacchi tries to combine the requirements of the first and second practices, aware of the importance of the Roman tradition and how style has changed over time. The programme ends with the performance of several motets (musical pieces) by Giovanni Francesco Anerio, Scacchi's teacher, and his younger brother Felice Anerio. This lets us see how Anerio's teaching compares to how Scacchi developed it over the years.

Founded in 2007, the Cappella Musicale Corradiana is conducted by Antonio Magarelli. The choir mainly performs sacred music, with a particular focus on the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical repertoires. The choir performs throughout Europe, appearing at festivals and music events. The choir participated in a project to stage the first modern performances of Giovanni Maria Trabaci's (1575–1647) Passions, performing The Passione secondo Luca and The Passione secondo Giovanni at the 2021 and 2022 Duni Festivals. In 2023, the Passion according to John was performed again at the Church of the Girolamini in Naples as part of the “Musical Rarities from the Girolamini Archive” series. The Cappella Musicale Corradiana performed Leonardo Leo's (1694–1744) Miserere for double choir at the Mother Church of San Vito dei Normanni for the Leonardo Leo Baroque Festival 2023. In 2013, it recorded the world premiere of Vito Antonio Cozzoli's (1777-1817) Oratorio Passio Domini Nostri Iesu Christi secundum Ioannem (1816) for soloists, choir and orchestra for Digressione Music. Cozzoli was a composer of the Neapolitan school. The ensemble also premiered the cantata 'Inno al Sole' for two sopranos and orchestra, composed by Giuseppe Millico (1737–1802). Finally, an interesting recording was released that brought another gem of the Neapolitan school to light: the Ufficio della Settimana Santa (Holy Week Office for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday), composed by Antonio Pansini (1703–1791) in the first half of the 18^(th) century, for three voices and basso continuo.
