Chloé de Guillebon (harpsichord) Recital

The programme of the 7th International Marco Scacchi Early Music Festival includes a concert by Chloé de Guillebon, an extremely talented young performer, and laureate of the international Žygimantas Liauksminas (Lithuania) and Gianni Gambi (Italy) festivals.

 

Her first experience playing the harpsichord was at the age of eleven. The musician became interested in the sound of the instrument and delved into its specifics when performing solo and with chamber orchestras. The harpsichordist studied in France and Germany, and her teachers include such famous names as Noelle Spieth and Frederic Michel (France), Marieke Spaans and Christine Schornsheim (Germany).
After completing her studies at the Music Academy in Basel (Switzerland), she majored in basso continuo and ensemble. In 2020 she founded the baroque music ensemble “Concert de la Reine”.
