Doulce Memoire. Music for Renaissance Guitar, Renaissance Lute, Baroque Guitar and Baroque Lute

Ieva Baltmiškytė is a Lithuanian guitarist, lutenist, and composer currently residing in Brussels. Ieva holds four master's degrees in guitar performance, early music, and music pedagogy from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she studied with Julius Kurauskas, and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she studied with internationally acclaimed musicians Antigoni Goni and Xavier Diaz Lattore.

 

Her solo album, "The Strings of my Soul," was recently released by the "Plaza Mayor Company" record label.

 

Her new album "Requiem for a Glacier” is currently in production. Ieva plays Renaissance and Baroque lute, vihuela, Renaissance and Baroque guitar, theorbo, romantic guitar, classical guitar, and 11-string guitar.
