The traditional festive concert cycle organised by the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania shall commence with the  Dagilėlis Boys and Youth Choir from Šiauliai, filling the stage with a Christmas mood. One of the brightest collectives of this genre performing in Lithuania, holding dozens of concerts every year, heard and warmly received by hundreds of audience members in concert halls around Lithuania and abroad. The young choir singers enchant audiences' hearts with their emotionality, and delight us with their wonderfully performed music.

The evening's soloist Asta Krikščiūnaitė performs in concerts with various symphonic and chamber orchestras in Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Israel and elsewhere. During the course of all her opera and concert activities, she has arranged and performed over 100 opera and concert soprano parts, as well as over 500 chamber music works. The possibilities of colour in the singer's refined voice range from gentle lyricism to deep drama, making it possible for her to perform music of various genres: opera, oratorios, major works with symphony orchestras, chamber music and opuses by contemporary composers.

One of the best collectives in this genre, the Čiurlionis Quartet assembled in 1968. Having received numerous prestigious musical awards in Lithuania and abroad, the quartet is renowned for its innovativeness and technical advancement, and has in recent years initiated original classical and jazz music projects, participating in concerts reflecting a broad context of genres. The quartet plays unique eighteenth-century instruments crafted by Italian masters.
