On Sunday, August 31, for the last time, visit for free the exhibition “Between the Threads of Time. The tapestry "Abduction of the Sabine Women” and the story of its restoration” and at 14:00 in the Grand Courtyard listen to the poetry of Motiejus Kazimieras Sarbievijus.
From 10:00 to 18:00 you will find:
- Exhibition “Szymon Czechowicz. A Baroque Master at Pidhirtsi”, where you will get to know perhaps the most renowned painter of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and his works.
- Exhibition “Pidhirtsi Castle. History And Art Collections”, presenting a European diamond of Ukrainian heritage, an object significant for the cultures of Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania.
- The last opportunity to visit for free the exhibition “Between the Threads of Time. The tapestry "Abduction of the Sabine Women” and the story of its restoration”. This is a chance to closely discover the tapestry’s history, its stages of restoration, and the subtleties of the restorer’s profession.
- An exhibition dedicated to Motiejus Kazimieras Sarbievijus and the Year of Baroque Literature, presenting two of the poet’s books – the poetry collection “Lyricorum libri IV” and the anthology “Carmina”.
- Dr. Pranas Kiznis Painting Gallery, exhibiting works by European painters of the 15th–17th centuries.
- Outdoor exhibition in the Grand Courtyard of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania “From Kraków, Vilnius and Warsaw – to Białowieża: Travels and Hunts of the Kings of Poland and Grand Dukes of Lithuania”, dedicated to the importance of the hunting phenomenon in the ruler’s life and presenting research on the Białowieża hunting estate.
- 3D projection of the virtual reconstruction of Gediminas’ Tower, transporting you into virtual Vilnius: see how the tower of Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania (1316–1341) looked, along with the objects surrounding it (€3.00)*.
- 3D “Virtual Journey Through Time.” The development of the residence of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania from the 13th to the 21st century (€3.00)*.

The last visitors are admitted one hour before the museum closes. A free ticket can be collected at the ticket offices.
